Hi Folks! I’m Jessie

Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area of Michigan. I don’t think there was a time in my life when I didn’t have a camera in my hand. I have now been a professional photographer for over 8 years! My life is a beautiful blend of casual chaos and love, thanks to an 18 year old me who married her best friend fresh out of high school. It’s been almost 16 years since then and we’ve welcomed home three spectacular children and more than a few beloved pets.
This love I carry for my family is what inspires and influences my photography. It shapes the way I see light, shadow, frame moments, and capture the quiet magic of life. This love has given me the ability to understand the profound beauty of connection, unspoken bonds and authentic love.

My approach is more than capturing an image, it’s about preserving emotion, storytelling and finding beauty in the fleeting moments through a blend of lifestyle, storytelling, and documentary style photography.

Just as the sunrise promises new beginnings and the stars remind us of endless possibilities, my photography seeks to reflect both the strength and softness of life.

I am drawn to authenticity; the raw, unfiltered moments in life that reveal emotion. Whether it’s the warmth of golden hour light, the quiet poetry of a passing season, or the way love lingers in a single glance… My goal is to create images that are timeless and cinematic.

More than just a profession, photography is my way of honoring the world and the people in it. It gives me the gift to stop time, to create something lasting in a world that is always changing. Every photograph is a map leading us back to that moment of laughter, unspoken emotions, and unconditional love. Creating folklore to share with your family for generations.

Fun facts about Jessie…

  • If I’m not holding a camera… I’m holding a book!

  • My comfort movies and t.v shows will be watched on REPEAT. The Movies? The Twilight Sage, Scream, The Conjuring Universe, The Wedding Singer. The Shows? The Office, Modern Family, Schitt’s Creek.

  • In the last year I have lost over 100 pounds. I never knew how much I loved myself until I decided to put myself first for an entire year.

  • I got my first professional camera when I was 17 years old!

  • I love animals ( yes, all of them).

    my hair is always a mess ( she who cannot be tamed).

    I can’t dance but I will almost always do a little jig.

    I will trip (and probably fall) at some point during our time together.

    Most of the words that come out of my mouth are things my brain forgot to keep to itself. So we are all about to get reallll comfy.
